myIMPACT Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Help

myIMPACT uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for added account security.

After entering your username and password, you’ll enter a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your mobile device. Follow the steps below for first time set up. See Step 4 for logging in after set up.

You only need to connect your app once during initial setup. Please Note: The MFA pop-up mentions “your company’s authenticator app,” but you can proceed using any personal authenticator app (e.g. the suggested apps below).

Install an authenticator app on your mobile device if you do not have one already

Search for and download a free authenticator app onto your mobile device. For example:

Google Authenticator Microsoft Authenticator 2FAS Authenticator

These apps generate secure, time-based codes used to verify your login.

Log in to myIMPACT

  1. Enter your username and password.
  2. You’ll be prompted to register your device.

Connect your account to the app

You will see a QR code on your screen.

  1. Open the authenticator app on your mobile device.
  2. You can then either add an account OR find the option to scan a QR code. You can add an account by looking for something like this (your app may look slightly different):

  3. You'll then be prompted to scan the QR code shown on your computer.
  4. The app will generate a 6-digit code under an account named "Cornerstone MFA".
  5. Enter that code into myIMPACT to finish setup.

Logging in after setup

After your account is set up, logging in will be quick and secure:

  1. Enter your username and password as usual. Enter your username and password as usual. An additional prompt will ask for your multi-factor authentication code.
  2. Open your authenticator app on your mobile device.
  3. Enter the current 6-digit code displayed in the app under the account named "Cornerstone MFA".

The code refreshes every 30 seconds, so be sure to use the most recent one.

You will need your mobile device each time you log in.
